WowKeren - Grammy Awards 2017 akhirnya telah mengumumkan daftar nominasinya pada Selasa (6/12) kemarin. Dua nama musisi besar yaitu Adele daan Beyonce Knowles harus bersaing ketat di sejumlah kategori utama.

Mengutip Mirror UK, Beyonce memimpin dengan masuk 9 nominasi tahun ini, termasuk untuk kategori album, lagu dan rekaman terbaik. Video klip lagu "Formation" juga dinominasikan kategori Best Music Video. Sementara itu, Adele berkat albumnya "25" berhasil meraih lima nominasi. Di antaranya Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best pop solo performance, dan Best pop vocal album.

Selain Adele, Beyonce juga mesti bersaing dengan beberapa musisi lainnya dalam kategori Album of the Year. Sebut saja Justin Bieber ("Purpose"), Drake ("Views") dan Sturgill Simpson ("A Sailor's Guide To Earth").

Sementara di kategori Song of the Year, keduanya harus berhadapan dengan Justin Bieber ("Love Yourself"), Lukas Graham ("7 Years") dan Mike Posner ("I Took A Pill In Ibiza"). Untuk nominasi Record of the Year sendiri, nama Adele dan Beyonce disandingkan dengan Lukas Graham ("7 Years"), Rihanna dan Drake ("Work") dan Twenty One Pilots ("Stressed Out").

Tahun ini, pemenang Grammy 2017 akan diumumkan di Staples Center, Los Angeles. Dipandu pembawa acara James Corden, ajang tersebut telah dijadwalkan digelar pada 12 Februari mendatang.
