WowKeren - Keseluruhan pemenang di CMT Music Awards 2011 telah diumumkan. Jika Female Video of the Year diraih Miranda Lambert, kategori serupa untuk penyanyi pria berhasil dimenangkan suaminya, Blake Shelton. Juri "The Voice" ini juga meraih penghargaan kategori baru, Best Web Video of the Year.

"Aku ingin mengucapkan terima kasih terutama pada penggemar," kata Blake yang tak bisa hadir karena syuting "The Voice" di Burbank, California seperti dilansir dari Taste of Country. "Dan aku tak percaya kalau Shania Twain yang memberikanku penghargaan.

Malang bagi Shania, ia sempat terjatuh saat naik ke panggung untuk membacakan nama Blake sebagai pemenang. Untungnya Shania masih bisa tersenyum tenang.

Adapun selain Blake, penghargaan tertinggi berhasil diraih Taylor Swift untuk video musik single "Mine". Penyanyi lain yang juga meraih penghargaan diantaranya Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber dan Rascal Flatts serta The Band Perry. Sementara itu, Jason Aldean yang memborong empat nominasi penghargaan malah tidak membawa pulang piala satupun.

CMT Music Awards 2011 disiarkan secara langsung 8 Juni di Bridgestone Arena, Nashville. Ajang penghargaan tersebut kembali dipandu oleh Kid Rock.
