WowKeren - Nominasi "Teen Choice Awards 2011" telah dimumkan dan dihuni bintang-bintang yang bersinar. Ajang penghargaan yang mrupakan pilihan para remaja ini bakal digelar di Los Angeles, Minggu 7 Agustus.

Untuk kategori TV, "Glee" memimpin dengan masuk sembilan nominasi, termasuk aktor Chris Colfer yang berada di nominasi Scene Stealer dan Fashion Icon. Sementara "The Vampire Diaries" dan "tGossip Girl%" juga memanaskan penghargaan dengan masuk beberapa nominasi.

Justin Bieber masuk nominasi sebegai penjahat lewat aksinya dalam "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" season 11. Penyanyi berusia 17 tahun itu akan bersaing dengan Jane Lynch ("Glee"), Seth MacFarlane ("Family Guy"), Joseph Morgan ("The Vampire Diaries") dan Ed Westwick ("Gossip Girl").

Persaingan remaja lainnya juga terjadi pada kategori aktris komedi. Miley Cyrus lewat aksinya dalam "Hannah Montana" bersaing dengan Selena Gomez ("Wizards of Waverly Place") dan Demi Lovato, ("Sonny with a Chance").

Teen Choice Awards 2011 akan digelar Minggu 7 Agustus dan disiarkan langsung stasiun TV Fox. Voting pemenang telah dibuka di situs resmi mulai Rabu 29 Juni. Sejauh ini belum diumumkan nama pemandu acara untuk Teen Choice Awards 2011. Sebelumnya, ajang tahun lalu dipandu oleh Katy Perry.

Teen Choice Awards ini telah lama digelar sejak 1999. Ajang tersebut memberikan penghargaan untuk bidang musik, mode, film, olahraga, televisi dan kategori umum lainnya berdasarkan voting para remaja di kisaran usia 13 hingga 19 tahun.
