WowKeren - "The Hunger Games" memborong piala di ajang penghargaan People's Choice Awards 2013. Film yang dibintangi Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson dan Liam Hemsworth ini berhasil menyabet 5 piala untuk kategori Favorite Movie, Favorite Movie Franchise, Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Face of Heroism dan Favorite On-Screen Chemistry.

Tak hanya itu, Jennifer juga berhasil meraih gelar Favorite Movie Actress untuk aktingnya di sejumlah film. Saat menerima piala tersebut, ketiganya tampak bangga dan senang atas dukungan para fans.

Jennifer mengaku sangat senang dengan penghargaan yang ia terima ini. Di People's Choice Awards 2013 aktris "Silver Linings Playbook" ini memang meraih 3 piala untuk kategori Favorite Movie Actress, Favorite Face of Heroism dan Favorite On-Screen Chemistry. "Terima kasih karena mencintai film seperti aku mencintainya," ujar Jennifer.

Meski menang besar, namun penghargaan fans film terloyal jatuh pada Twihards. Fans "Twilight" ini berhasil mengalahkan fanbase-fanbase film besar lainnya seperti Potterheads ("Harry Potter"), Ringers ("The Lord of the Rings") dan Tributes ("The Hunger Games").

Sederet selebritis ikut hadir dalam ajang penghargaan tersebut seperti Taylor Swift, Lea Michele, Paris Hilton, Chloe Moretz dan Emma Watson. Acara itu juga dimeriahkan dengan penampilan musik Demi Lovato dan Faith Hill. People's Choice Awards ke-39 ini dipandu oleh bintang serial "The Big Bang Theory", Kaley Cuoco sebagai host dan diselenggarakan di Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles.
