WowKeren - Penghargaan Grammy Tahunan ke-63 diadakan pada Minggu (14/3) malam waktu Amerika Serikat atau Senin (15/3) pagi waktu Indonesia di CBS. Trevor Noah menjadi pembawa acara upacara dari Los Angeles Convention Center, tepat di seberang jalan dari tempat biasa acara penghargaan di Staples Center.

Seperti acara penghargaan lainnya yang diadakan selama pandemi, tidak ada penonton langsung untuk Grammy tahun ini, kecuali sejumlah artis dan nominasi. Penampil di acara tersebut termasuk Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Cardi B dan Megan Thee Stallion datang dengan berbagai gaun yang kerena.

Beyonce Knowles memimpin dengan sembilan nominasi. Tak hanya itu, ia juga mencetak sejarah setelah meraih kemenangan Grammy ke-28 dalam karirnya. Istri Jay-Z itu memecahkan rekor kemenangan Grammy terbanyak yang pernah ada oleh artis wanita. Ia juga meraih rekor kemenangan Grammy terbanyak yang pernah diperoleh oleh seorang penyanyi.

Ada pula Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch dan Taylor Swift yang masing-masing mencetak enam nominasi. Tak perlu diragukan Taylor Swift sukses membawa pulang penghargaan Album of the Year ketiganya. Selain itu ada pula Billie Eilish dan saudara lelakinya Finneas yang memboyong piala untuk Record Of The Year.

Ada pula beberapa penyanyi yang sukses membawa pulang piala Grammy pertamanya tahun ini. Meghan Thee Stallion meraih piala Grammy pertamanya melalui kategori Best Rap Performance berkat lagu "Savage Remix" yang ia buat bersama Beyonce. Harry Styles juga meraih piala Grammy pertamanya berkat "Watermelon Sugar".

Boy grup asal Korea Selatan, BTS (Bangtan Boys) juga mencetak sejarah dengan masuk dalam kategori Best Pop Duo/Group Performance untuk pertama kalinya. Sayangnya, grup yang digawangi RM (Rap Monster) dan kawan-kawan ini kalah dari Lady Gaga dan Ariana Grande "Rain on Me".
